I'm a fan of comics and westerns so even although I knew of Jonah Hex in name only this was some thing I knew I could most likely at least sit via. I've seen some reviews and they seem a small harsh. It wasn't anything special but it moved a long fairly rapidly and I wasn't bored for what that's worth.

I agree with other people that Brolin was a great option for Hex. I was glad to see Malkovich there but he seemed a tad underwhelming. I think he's a excellent actor so I trust he nailed the character although. Will Arnett stuck out like a sore thumb within the little number of scenes he was in. He's a goofy, funny guy I just do not truly wish to see him in a severe role. You nearly can't tell if he's for actual or being sarcastically severe. Megan Fox is Megan Fox. Why individuals are complaining so a lot about her acting I have no idea. She's there for sex appeal. No one thinks she's the next coming of Meryl Streep or some thing.

The movie looked a small as well synthetic for me particularly some from the "ultimate weapon" stuff. It looked a small as well clean for a western as well. I do not know why some movies like There Will Be Blood can appear so authentic and suck you in to the setting but other people like this just appear as well fake.

I figured there would be some fantastic elements involved even although it was grounded in actual life, just simply because from the comic influence. That may have prepared me a small much more for the stuff other people may have discovered to be out of location. In fairness movies are a small bit like watching a sporting event for the very first time. Should you do not know the rules or know what to expect you're likely to not enjoy it a lot. After the very first 5 minutes or so I figured as a lot to not be jarred by some from the much more out of location plot elements, so all in all I thought it was a short, somewhat entertaining movie. Glad it wasn't a lot longer although.
